Frequency provided project management services for the delivery of a new bus driver rest facility at the Pukekohe Bus Station, supporting the project through concept and detailed design, procurement, and construction, and acting as Engineer’s Representative during delivery.

Delivered alongside the recent rail station upgrade, the facility extends the cultural and architectural language of the wider transport hub into a compact, highly functional building. Key features include the reuse of culturally designed glass, a bespoke exterior wrap, and a glulam timber portal, creating a space that integrates seamlessly within the station environment.

Fabricated off-site as a portable structure, the building enabled an efficient construction programme while maintaining a high level of design quality. The completed facility provides bus drivers with a dedicated space to rest and reset, recognising their essential role in keeping Auckland moving.
