Steven leads programme controls for complex projects, bringing over 32 years of construction, project, and programme management experience, and 16 years specialising in programme controls. He ensures that project planning, reporting, and risk management are clear, actionable, and integrated into decision-making, enabling teams to deliver on time, on budget, and to specification.
His career spans industries including retail franchising fitouts, mining, automotive electronics, oil and gas, rail, airports energy sector works – wind and solar and a Biomass Facility. Steven has worked with global clients such as Sasol, Flour, Vopak, Chevron, Tesla, Lotus, Bentley, Toyota, and Volkswagen, managing large and technically complex projects across consulting engineering practices and production planning environments.
Steven translates complex programme controls outputs into clear visual insights for senior management, including Project-on-a-Page dashboards, slippage analyses, and earned value cost forecasting. He integrates project planning tools (MSP, P6, CCS) with BIM to strengthen the connection between planning, delivery, and outcomes.
With a Diploma in Project Management and a NZQA Level 7 Management & Marketing Diploma, Steven blends technical expertise with commercial insight to guide high-performing teams and deliver complex projects successfully.
