Jonathan Barry

With nearly 30 years of experience in New Zealand’s construction industry, Jonathan Barry brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to our clients. Jonathan’s career began as an engineering cadet, progressing to Divisional Manager for a multinational Contractor before establishing Frequency in 2011. Jonathan has honed his skills across a broad range of the industry, including project planning, risk management, funding, and procurement & governance.

As a founding partner of Frequency, Jonathan established the firm as a trusted advisor and specialist provider of Project Management and Construction Advisory services. He has led project teams on both the client and contractor sides, providing leadership, governance, commercial, and procurement strategies for major initiatives across Education, Health, Transport, and Rail sectors.

Jonathan is a passionate advocate for New Zealand’s infrastructure, and his leadership and industry insights continue to drive exceptional outcomes for clients and projects across New Zealand.
