Frequency provided project management services for the rollout of AT HOP ticketing gates at Panmure, Pukekohe, and Middlemore stations, supporting the programme through investigation, design, procurement, and construction.

Delivered within a live rail corridor, the works required careful staging to maintain safe and continuous passenger access while minimising disruption to station operations. Key elements included the procurement of long‑lead ticketing gate equipment, coordination of design partners and contractors, and the design and fabrication of prefabricated security booths. Detailed pedestrian modelling informed gate locations and layouts, ensuring compliance with emergency egress requirements and maintaining safe passenger flows within constrained platform environments.

Frequency led stakeholder engagement and managed all delivery interfaces, ensuring alignment across operational teams and project objectives. Frequency’s contributions to the programme strengthen revenue protection while improving station control and accessibility, supporting a safer and more efficient public transport network.
